Esalen Live! is hosted by Esalen faculty member Christine Chen, an award-winning journalist, best-selling yoga book author, and master yoga teacher and trainer. She is also the Chief Editor of our blog, The Journal.

The Myth, Reality, and Freedom of Tantra

For the first time in Esalen's history, Tantra will be offered from its roots, 1500-year old history, and cultural context. Co-leading a series of workshops in 2022 is Sravana Borkataky-Varma, lecturer for Harvard Divinity School and founder of Lumen Tree Portal. She joined Christine Chen on Esalen Live! to share a practice, history, her personal story, and more.

Sravana will co-teach Tantra: Freedom and Self-Sovereignty with Keith Edward Cantú at Esalen January 7–9, 2022.
