  • Embodying Grace in times of Change: Rising into Spiritual Maturity, October 25-29, with Miranda Macpherson. Ask yourself: what does it take to be more graceful and responsive rather than reactive with the personal and collective invitations of our time? Miranda Macpherson shares a holistic and feminine approach to surrender and nondual realization based on a practice she calls Ego Relaxation — embracing the totality of our experience as a gateway into our deepest nature.
  • Meditation and Modern Life: Cultivating a Daily Practice, November 15-19, with Dan Zigmond. Students will leave this retreat with everything they need to start, revive, or deepen a daily meditation practice led by Zen priest, writer, and data scientist Dan Zigmond. Students will receive instruction in traditional Zen meditation and will sit together, practicing withinguided sessions.. Discussionsunpack obstacles to meditation plus how to overcome them. Experience a bit with Zigmond on a recent appearance on Esalen Live!
  • Gestalt Practice & Principles: Cultivating Embodied Wholeness in Daily Life, December 13-17 with Steven Harper. Gestalt Practice is an awareness practice, meant to cultivate embodied, present-moment awareness of the unfolding experience of the here and now, on a journey toward authentic wholeness and radical aliveness. During this workshop students will explore the rich practices and principles of Gestalt Practice, apply them to daily life, and begin to experience the simple yet profound potential for growth towards authentic wholeness and radical aliveness. Today, September 29, is World Heart Day. Strike up a conversation with your own heart and as you feel comfortable, encourage others to do the same. As part of our own transformations and self-care, we sometimes ask for others to illuminate and enliven our hearts or speak our love language.

What if we could do this for ourselves too, even if just for today… or to start a heart practice, forever?
